Spooky season never ends

 

I just want to have another finish, so spooky season is still on! I lost a lot of momentum when I realized the kit miscalculated, and did not include enough of the darker purple that's used in the roof and the bat wings. I got what I could, and tried to focus on finishing an entire area, so if when I pick up a skein and if it's slightly different it should be less noticeable. I had a trip to the craft store planned, so I shifted gears and just started going down my thread card and doing literally everything with each color to make sure there weren't any other shortages.

Which means I have started putting in the beads even though I still have more cross stitching to do. But it's been kind of nice to fill in some of those gaps, and honestly the beads aren't much more of a snag hazard than the corners of the perforated paper itself.

With Thanksgiving so late in the month this year, maybe I can finish my Halloween stitching before it?
