Still Sewing Book

 I did finish the long panel a couple of weekends ago:

And then immediately rolled it into the frame so I could start on the last 2 panels:

This was mostly done last weekend; I ended up spending most of the day at my mom's for car reasons. Not quite how I intended to spend the day, but it was productive! I just have that last flower to do, and I'm hoping it goes as quickly as it did on the long panel.

Many stitches

 

Getting there. I have one more partial flower to do, and then outlining the void, and this part will be done! Technically there's some beads or something (haven't read that far in the directions), but I'll actually probably wait to do that at the very end. As in, once I've taken this off the frame and ironed it, possibly even cut it to pieces for construction. 

It is nice to take a step back and really look at the piece. I've been a little distracted just looking at my own pic. One, just because of the way the frame and my stand and everything worked, it ended up that I've been stitching this piece upside down. So seeing it flipped correctly, and being able to really look at the colors and everything as a whole instead of parts 5 inches from my face...it's nice. The boldness of the colors and designs were what drew me to this piece to begin with, so good to know I still like all that!

Made it to 2026!

 Already starting the year off better than last! Apparently my earliest 2025 post was in February, so I'm calling this one a win. As exp...
