Not an update update

 No crafting lately. Somehow my parent's moving and getting rid of stuff while packing has meant a whole bunch of stuff magically materializing in *my* house. I wanted to redo my crafting area anyway so this is a good enough time. But it's turned into basically tearing everything apart, so I've packed the projects away so hopefully nothing gets lost or separated in the interim.

Trim blocking

 Why did I think making the trim myself was a good idea? The pieces for the capelet are done, washed, and blocking:

Those will sit down the shoulders. With all the pins they look rather....centipede-y.

The edging. Each and every little point got a pin. I'm glad I have the blocking wires, that helped lay everything out super neatly. I'm leaving them overnight, even though I'm pretty sure they've already dried.

I don't have a picture, but I have started sewing the hood pieces together two. I'll be glad to have this piece done; it's taking some gathering and then some pleating, so we'll see how that all works out.
