Thanksgiving update

 I brought Madam Butterfly with me home for Thanksgiving with my parents, and have finished the side bands.

That leaves one last piece to stitch!

I've also taken a break from lace, to get back to knit cables:
 

This is going to be a sweater, Devyn by Maria Leigh. It got cold, and I clearly didn't have enough sweaters. Speaking of sweaters! I'm quite pleased; I've had a handful of sweaters I made in high school and college; and due to changes from age and that sweet Covid-bod and just, changes to my style, I haven't fit or worn any of them in years. But! One of my coworkers has teenage daughters, so I was able to pass them to her. Apparently one of her daughters claimed one of the vests and has basically been living in it. Thrilled they're being worn and appreciated.
